It has been completely redone with high end finishes, custom details & shiplap galore!

The layout is perfect for as much togetherness or separation as anyone could want!

The space

Welcome to the 'Sugar Shack'!

The property's secluded location in Seagrove is perfect, with a less than 5 MINUTE STRAIGHT WALK DOWN SOMERSET BRIDGE ROAD TO THE BEACH ACCESS!  

This house has everything you need for the perfect beach vacation! The golf cart is such a fun way to get around, and included in the price (they usually rent for $125+/day!) The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, and the outdoor spaces - porches GALORE - make this house great for large groups/families with people of all ages! There's even an enclosed outdoor shower!

The finishes have all been done with incredible craftsmanship and have tons of custom woodworking. Marble counters, custom kitchen cabinetry, shiplap everywhere, expansive landscaping, and more await!

As you will see from the pictures, the main house has two separate spaces/entrances.  

THE FIRST/MAIN AREA boasts a gourmet kitchen, Florida-style living room with fireplace, large dining space, 3 of the 5 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms.  
The first bedroom is a master with a king bed and en suite bathroom with a claw foot soaking tub, separate shower, and double vanity with marble countertop.
The second bedroom is also a king bedroom, with a connecting sunroom-type-space (separated by a barn door) which is the third bedroom. It has clothing storage + built in cabinetry + a day bed (single) with a trundle pull out (single). These bedrooms would use the full bathroom (tub/shower combination) off of the hallway.

THE SECOND AREA has a separate entrance from the outside of the home (basically like its own apartment as it does not connect on the inside to the main house described above - but does connect from the outside (door directly to the right of the front door)). On the first floor there is a second full kitchen, small dining area, and full bathroom (shower only). There is a small spiral staircase that leads to the second floor holds the fourth bedroom, which has two queen beds. (Note: stairs are steep and older guests should be careful). This separate space is great for a whole family that is wanting privacy!

The fifth bedroom is a studio above the detached workshop/garage, and has two twin beds. Guests staying here would have to use one of the bathrooms in the main house.

Seagrove’s collection of lush oak trees, magnolias, and laid back, yet luxurious lifestyles makes it a favorite of longtime South Walton visitors. The landscape is complemented by its diverse mix of boutiques, casual cafes and an altogether upbeat ambiance.

A stay in Seagrove is full of adventure! The proximity demands that visitors explore Deer Lake State Park and Eastern Lake, and biking along the Timpoochee Trail in Seagrove is a preferred way to get around!

This South Walton favorite was one of the first to establish a foothold along Highway 30A. Not far to the west, on Highway 395, Seagrove Village Market is a must for succulent shrimp po-boys and good old nostalgia, having been part of the Seagrove community since 1949.

To the east (overlooking the appropriately named Eastern Lake), Old Florida Fish House is the perfect place for lunch or dinner. You don’t want to miss out on their renowned sushi and live music!

With plenty of shady nooks, beautiful stretches of sun-soaked beach, and lots of fun to go around, Seagrove is the perfect beach community for families looking for a classic Florida vacation vibe - and this house emulates that feel at every turn!

The golf cart is street legal (only - no driving on sidewalks) and such a fun way to get around!

There is room to fit 3 cars in the driveway, no parking on the street is allowed.

5-minute walk to the best beaches in the country! The area of Seaside is known for its pristine white sand beach and quiet feel. 

Scenic Highway 30A's best restaurants nearby include Cafe Thirty-A (walking distance), Surfing Deer, Goatfeathers, Perfect Pig, Angelina's Pizza, The Hub, and more!

Other things to note
  • A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
  • Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date.
  • Check in is 4:00 PM & check out is 10:00 AM. Late check out / early check in will be subject to another day's rental fees.
  • Please note we provide a starter set of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher + laundry pods for your stay
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited.
  • Maximum occupancy is enforced.
  • All renters must be over 25 years of age, or if under age 25 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
  • Golf cart is not to be driven past the town of Rosemary Beach to the East or the town of WaterColor to the West. Resolving any issue from the golf cart battery dying because of the renters not charging it will be charged to the renters.
  • Pool heating must be for the full duration of your stay and must be requested 48 hours prior to check in and paid before the heater will be turned on.  Pool heating cost is $50/night of your reservation.  It is available October 1 - April 30.
  • Reservations are fully refundable until 60 days from check-in.

Property management was very easy to work with. Evan was quick to respond when we had a question about the grill!

House was amazing. Beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up each morning. The bikes were so convenient to use to get to the beach. Just a 1-minute ride away. The house also came with a golfcart. We never needed to use our car. House provided everything we needed to make our stay more comfortable beach chairs, beach wagon, bikes, golfcart and beach towels. Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans for a lazy evening in cooking. We didn't want to leave. Cannot wait to come back again next year!!
